Omer Aydin

Grand Master Barber

Omer Aydin follows a long line Turkish barbers spanning several generations. From a young boy of 7, he would spend hours watching his highly skilled Father and Grandfather at work, observing and learning as he perfected his own techniques.

After arriving in the United Kingdom almost a decade ago, Omer obtained his NVQ in both barbering and hairdressing. Whilst on the course he helped his tutors by teaching them his unique method of barbering. To further his skills, Omer became an expert in male skincare as well as shaving and barbering.

After opening his own Barbers in the Midlands, he was soon fully booked with a waiting list of several weeks. Omer found himself giving one to one shaving lessons to men that wanted his expertise and advice and developed a training course for beauty therapists and barbers to learn the skill of cut throat shaving and threading.

In 2006 Omer joined the team at The Refinery at Harrods, offering shaving lessons and services to their discerning clientele.
