Roja Dove is the most quoted fragrance expert in the world; his wisdom and passion bring the ethereal world of scent alive. A historian and storyteller, he is the world’s sole “Professeur des Parfums”.

As a medical research student in Cambridge, Roja visited the Belle Époque Guerlain boutique on the Champs-Elysees, and lost his heart completely to the exoticism of a thousand cut glass bottles and their mysterious contents.

He bombarded Guerlain with thousands of requests for training and eventually convinced Robert Guerlain to employ him, staying with the company for almost two decades.

On meeting George Hammer, Roja agreed to open the Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie at Harrods, a one-of-a-kind, a sumptuous home for fragrance as it should be: luxurious, sensual, decadent, daring. The Roja Dove Haute Parfumerie defies the contemporary notion of ‘spray and pray’ to bring together the finest fragrance offerings with Roja’s personally trained experts to guide each customer in finding their signature fragrance.

Combining his years of expertise, Roja has consulted with Urban Retreat to create a Parfumerie collection comprised of two fragrances, Reverie for day and Rendevous for night.
